Clerkship Rotation for Pharmacy Students

A new 6-week internship for 6th year pharmacy students at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Services has been developed and will be introduced at BUSPH in January, 2008. In an effort to encourage young pharmacists to consider advanced education and careers in public health, the rotation will provide pharmacy students with a hands-on introduction to the role of pharmaceutical policy in global public health, with a specific goal of demonstrating the role of the pharmacist in addressing public health issues. Students will be expected to attend lectures and presentations and participate in research and technical assistance activities currently underway at BUSPH.
